We learned over the years and our many trips that we had to think carefully about what our children could cope with and what would enable us to all arrive at the other end and still be smiling.
When travelling alone for business, I often don’t even pack until the actual day of travel – but with children – that is a recipe for disaster. Not only do they require a lot of specific items but they also demand your attention and care at the same time. It can be a very stressful time.
