Traveling with a Toddler Checklist: Download yours here!

Many times on this website, you will read how important good preparation is to maximise the success of your trip when you are flying with young children.  It is very different than just heading on an adventure as a couple or as a single person – there is just so much more to think about and so many more items that are required.  A toddler is not going to sit and read ‘war & peace’, ‘the hobbit’ or ‘the Narnia Series’ for 10 hours!  You will need to be prepared – have the necessities and plenty of variety.

A very useful tool to assist you with planning and implementation is your ‘traveling with a toddler checklist’.

  1. Clothing
  2. Food

  4. Nappies / Diapers / Pull-ups
  5. Medicines

The links below enable you to download a ‘traveling with a toddler checklist’ template that you can use as the basis for your own list.  This has been prepared using the experience we have gained from more than 100 flights with our own babies and young children, some as short as 50 minutes and others being long 14+ hour flights and journeys that could actually take us 4-5 days.

The checklists can be downloaded as a pdf file or spreadsheet, depending on your preference.  The excel spreadsheet is able to easily be modified for your own use – just use our checklist as a starting point and delete what is not relevant for you and add i what you want.  Once it is ready – print it and you are underway!
